Welcome to Westview Tax & Accounting! I’m Josh Mohr, the founder of this firm, established in October 2023 to address the CPA needs of North Idaho. After spending most of my life in Oregon, my family and I decided to embark on a new chapter and relocated to Coeur d’Alene in June 2023. The move has been a tremendous blessing for us, and founding this firm was the next exciting step in our journey.
I earned my CPA credentials in 2014 and have been immersed in public accounting since 2012. Throughout the past decade, I’ve dedicated my professional career to assisting small businesses, ranging from mom-and-pop startups to multimillion-dollar multistate enterprises, in navigating the intricacies of taxation and bookkeeping. Drawing on my experience from both large and small CPA firms, as well as successfully growing and managing my own practice, Westview Tax & Accounting integrates the best of what I’ve learned.
Having witnessed practices where firms prioritize speed and high fees at the expense of client service, I take a different approach. My philosophy revolves around the belief that excellent client service benefits everyone involved. It aligns with the core reason I became a CPA – to help my clients and their businesses thrive. Unlike larger firms that solely focus on advertising to grow their practice, my primary referral source is word of mouth, a testament to the quality of my work. I find joy in spending the time to educate my clients, simplifying complex details, and fostering relationships that extend beyond business interactions.
